Still Woozy

Concert in Review

Still Woozy launched his highly anticipated Lush tour at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, Arizona, on September 30th, and the performance was a vivid, multi-sensory journey from start to finish.

The concert kicked off with a one-two punch of "Again" and "Get By," immediately setting the tone for the night. Still Woozy (aka Sven Gamsky) was brimming with energy, often dancing across the stage, his moves matching the playful, carefree vibes of his music. He’d bound away from the mic to join in with his bassist, the two sharing moments of pure joy before Woozy would return to his guitar or vocal duties. His dynamic stage presence had the audience completely captivated, and his connection with the crowd was undeniable.

Visually, the concert was as captivating as the music. The stage setup, with flowers and grass creating an organic, serene atmosphere, added a touch of whimsy that aligned perfectly with Woozy’s genre-bending, dreamlike sound. The surreal aesthetic felt especially fitting during songs like "Window," where the window-framed platforms beside his band members enhanced the playful, almost cinematic vibe of the performance.

Songs like "Lemon" and "All Your Life" kept the energy high, while softer tracks like "Lucy" pulled the crowd into a dreamy, intimate space, showcasing the emotional depth of Woozy's sound. Every song on the setlist was met with wild applause, and the audience’s love for him was clear as they sang along to every track without missing a beat.

From the very first song, the crowd was incredibly loud and responsive, singing along to every lyric as if they were part of the band. The energy hit its peak during the closing moments of "Habit" and "Goodie Bag," where fans practically took over, their voices almost drowning out Woozy as they belted out every word. He grinned from ear to ear, clearly reveling in the audience’s enthusiasm.

Still Woozy’s kickoff in Tempe wasn’t just a concert—it was a full-fledged experience, with lush visuals and an undeniable energy flowing between artist and fans. His performance proved why he’s one of the most exciting acts in indie music today, leaving Tempe buzzing and eagerly awaiting what’s to come on the rest of the tour.
